2026 PCA-SDR Installation Dinner
Join us in January at The Westin Carlsbad to celebrate another year of PCA-SDR fun and kick-off the new year with a bang!
This is a wonderful chance to dress up and party with the wonderful club members of PCA-SDR.
We'll have a wonderful meal, festive announcements. and music for dancing. The Westin Carlsbad is an upscale, coastal hotel in Carlsbad, California, situated on a hill with views of the Pacific Ocean. It is a family-friendly and pet-friendly resort that offers a variety of amenities, including a spa, several restaurants, outdoor pools, and a golf course. The venue offers waived self parking and $43 valet parking.
We also have discounted rates for overnight accomodations at $199 per room + tax, a waived resort fee and $15 food & beverage credit.per stay. Included in your overnight accomodation is 24 Hour heated Pool & Jacuzzi and WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, private entrance to LEGOLAND® California Resort, in-room Starbucks Coffee, bottled water in room, unlimited local/800 calls, complimentary shuttle service within a five-mile radius, $15.00 food & beverage credit PER STAY, beach chair rental, beach towel rental, daily bike rental, and standard Wi-Fi.

Event registration is $115 + tax & msreg.
Starting at 5pm we have a one hour complimentary cocktail reception on the Grand View Terrace and then at 6pm we will proceed to the Grand View Atrium for dinner dinner. There we have a lovely meal planned.
The first course is:
- Sweet Corn and Pimiento Chowder
- Hand-Picked Baby Greens with Orange Segmants, Cotija Cheese, Papitas, Tajin Tortilla Strips and Citrus Vinaigrette (GF/DF/V)
For the main course you have the choice of:
- Seasonal Local Bass with Parsnip Puree, Braised Farm Greens, Mediterranean Sala (GF)
- Braised Short Rib with Caberbet Braised Short Rib with Wild Mushroom, Heirloom Carrots, Pearl Onion, and Parsnip Puree (GF)
- Vegan Pumpkim Ravioli with Cashew Cream, Sage, Spiced Chickpeas (DF/V)
For desert we will enjoy
- Flourless Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Mousse & Berry Coulis (GF/V)
Of course a ballroom is not complete without a dance floor, which will be set out to allow you to dance the night away.
