Want to kick off your New Year with something new? Come join the PCASDR for a taste of San Diego wines. These are exciting times in our local wine scene. Did you know that San Diego County has been quietly producing some exceptional under-the-radar wines over the last several years? Think Napa Valley 40 years ago, or Temecula 20 years ago!
Put some fun into your Sunday funday and follow the Porsche-worthy twisty roads to meet us at 12:00 PST at the beautiful Mia Marie winery in the Highland Valley.
You'll be greeted with a toast of sparkling wine, followed by a tasting of five estate-grown wines from their 105 acre vineyard. A passionate team of knowledgeable sommeliers will lead our wine tasting experience, which also includes a charcuterie board to snack on. Come meet new friends and enjoy the 360 degree breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills.
Registration is limited to the first 40 people. Sign up as soon as this is likely to fill up fast. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of many more visits to local wineries "in our very own backyard!".
