Mon-Sat (4/21-4/26) - 6 days, 5 nights to southern AZ (Bisbee), eastern mountains (hwy 191), Sedona canyon, Jerome and Prescott
Small group - 6 total spots (rooms), 4 available as of 2/23.
- Mon (4/21) early morning departure from Temecula for longest stretch (520 mi) to Bisbee, AZ. 2 nights at the Letson Loft Hotel in historical downtown Bisbee.
- Tues (4/22) relaxing leisure day exploring Bisbee.
- Wed (4/23) head north on hwy 191 through eastern mountains eventually arriving at Alpine, AZ (approx 270 mi). Lodging at Long Shadow Lodge (elev 8,000 ft)
- Thur (4/24) head west through national forests, Apache reservation, Roosevelt Lake and arriving at Payson, AZ (approx 250 mi). Lodging at Best Western Payson.
- Fri (4/25) head northwest by Mary and Mormon Lakes to hwy 89A south down to Sedona for lunch, west to Jerome and eventually arriving at Prescott, AZ (approx 180 mi). Lodging at Wyndham Days Inn Prescott. Afternoon arrival leaving time to explore downtown Prescott.
- Sat (4/26) head west hwy 89 to 10 to Palm Springs for lunch. Back to Temecula via hwy 74 and 371/79.
Cost - $1200 (single or couple) for five nights accommodation as noted above. All meals and refreshments are self pay.
